Roots Therapy

As always our time away at Umzumbe Surf Camp is phenomenal! We always leave feeling utterly refreshed!! With the beach on your doorstep, it's an oasis of relaxation. The staff is always on hand to help should any matter arise! It's our 4th visit and we look forward to many more!

Went here a couple of years back. Unbelievable vibe, setting, surrounded by beautiful scenery and nature. Right on the beach. If you want to chill and meet people from all over, this is the place to go.

Access to the beach is the best attraction for me. Long stretch of beautiful clean beaches. Safe secure with friendly staff and an honesty bar.

Rustic accommodations (bungalow) on beautiful grounds Great location and brilliant surfschool. Average rating due to water supply problems. A real problem in this area. Caretakers on site and friendly. Try to take sting out of situation_ so rise a star otherwise great. Was actually sad to leave. Thanks Fran and Grant for excellent time

We love it here, really is a home away from home and literally a sand wedge from the sea. The new tree house has the most amazing views and as always the hosts (Fran and Grant) make you feel right at home. We'll be back over and over again - happily move there too! On a side note, the main beach also has the best tidal pool for kids.

Absolutely loved our time Umzumbe Surf Camp! The managers Grant and Fran were welcoming, friendly and wonderful hosts. The location cannot be any better with access to the beach right on the doorstep. We tried our hand at surfing and it was absolutely amazing, loved being in the water and Grant was so patient and taught us the basic skills we needed to be able to move around in the water. Will definitely be back!

Lovely house and cottages spread around a big deck and rolling lawn and gate to beautiful beach with great surf. Such a relaxing and friendly vibe for family, kids and friends - dogs and cats, surf rentals and lessons that our kids loved. The hosts are welcoming and accommodating, perfect balance of relaxing privacy and friendliness. Cottages are very clean with all the amenities, shopping and lots to see of lovely south coast nearby.
