Went to visit Rustic Hut at the golf club.... Aweaome food at reasonable prices
One of the classic rural type clubs. Lots of history and a decent looking old bar. Course look like it is in good Nick. Squash courts could use a good cleaning.
Food at the Rustic hut is good too️

I don't play golf, but I've been to numerous functions at the Vryheid Golf Club, and also do the Parkrun there as well as the odd "Freedom run." It is a really beautiful green area, lovely oak trees shading the parking area, lots of pine trees throughout the course giving shade and some protection from the wind. It has it's own restaurant and also does quite large functions. Also has a squash court. Very nice place.
Worth the round for a small town golf course. Really well kept. Carts in good condition, range is in good knick. 9 holw course" difficulty 6/10. Good shots off the tee are rewarded as the fairways allow the ball to roll on and on. So hit straight. Not much water in play. Careful of the snakes though - cojrse2 has been known to have a few. stay out of the rough with your hitting.
Beautiful gholf course. Make sure you visit on a beautiful day to make sure you can appreciate the astounding view. Can't wait to go again.
