We visited Hoekwil Country cafe on our honeymoon, as my hubby loves cheesecake. We went in with big expectations and I must say, they were far exceeded! The blueberry cheesecake surpassed even the Cheesecake Factory’s version. The staff were super friendly, particularly Chani. Very unassuming place and a must visit for foodies when visiting the Wilderness :)

Great little caffee well worth the trip. Food was top quality with generous portions at a fair price (if a bit bland). Had the Turkish, chocolate and blue berry Cheesecake. Wouldn't rate it the best I have ever had, but definitely well above average with the blueberry being the standout.

Chani offers the best cheese cake for miles. Nice terrace and friendly service. The sourdough bread we bought was very delicious

This is a lovely quaint cafe situated 5 minutes off the N2 in the Wilderness area. Tourists, residents and parents waiting to pickup their children from the adjacent Hoekwil primary school have several delicacies and coffee to select from while they wait or while they stop to rest weary bodies. There is a small play park for children and sufficient parking space for the disabled and able-bodied people.
