Good for kids
Walked from the quarry through to Worcester-West in Winter. Still very nice. Would suggest that spring summer will be a better time to go for a hike as the roads took some erosion damage due to the rains. Great views and options for roads to be taken. Make day of it. Have a pick-nick at the dam behind the Brandwacht reservoir or on one of the lookout points. Good hiking shoes are essential thou for some routs. Routs also great for Mountain biking and trail running.

Breathtaking views! Will definitely go again, just waiting for the flower season to start! There are 3 hiking trails, beautiful gardens and even a restaurant at the Karoo Gardens.

Typical karoo plants, most of which are succulents, beautiful when blossom. Quiet and good place for relaxation.
Some of the views are breathtakingly. The trail is just long enough for a family too.
