In 2008, A1 Capital acquired Educor Holdings, a leading supplier of private education, from JSE-listed Naspers. Although the company was at a loss, the fund assisted with their turnaround strategy and Educor Holdings now operates as a profitable, sustainable investment. As part of our global expansion initiatives, in 2015 we acquired London College of International Business Studies. A London based college, we have now established broad footprint across multiple locations in Africa. Today, A1 Capital is fully invested in South Africa, Africa and the UK and continues to build a strong investor portfolio within the global landscape. To date, the fund has built a resume of successful long-term investments and anticipates identifying future opportunities.
