Quality of the wooden art is quite good. Salesmen are trustful and answering emails/whatsapp when you have questions. But: Delivery time is really really long. You must be very patient and don't change your adress meanwhile. - It took 8 months to get our giraff. But it finally arrived. :-)

On 23 January 2020 I ordered a wooden elephant in this shop, which was supposed to ship accordingly. It is now the 24th of October and I still haven't received it. Despite frequent requests for a tracking number, Salifou has never provided me with one, but instead put me off on numerous occasions. I am now complaining here because this seems to be the last way to get his attention. If I ever do receive my elephant, I will consider adjusting my rating accordingly. For now, buyers should beware of this shop.

We bought a large and beautiful wooden giraffe end of October and didn't get delivery (in Australia) until mid March - there was a note from Australian Customs that they had opened and examined the giraffe and all was fine. It had been very carefully packed by the African Art Gallery and we were very happy for it to now be in our home - we want to but another, larger one if we are fortunate enough to get back over there. We have known Salifou (the owner) for close to 8 years and always stop by every time we go to Stellenbosch. There is always something beautiful to buy, besides the handcrafted woodworks, including African paintings. Ordered a 7 foot Giraffe from him a few years ago and it is absolutely beautiful. He ships it from South Africa and he has no control over what happens to it once it leaves his shop. It took 7 months to arrive here in the USA, because US Customs holds it, but eventually will release it. Have patience when ordering from him, it is well worth your wait. When you go to his shop, talk to them and you will be amazed how kind they are. Salifou is at the shop every day, and ask for him, because he is usually close by.

The giraffe made it to UK. It might have taken slightly longer than what we expected but it arrived safe and in perfect conditions. It's great, beautiful. Thank you!

I placed my order ( 3 giraffes) in June, it is almost 5 months now that I am waiting for the delivery and Mr Salifou did not send any tracking number. Dear Mr Salifou, since you are not replying any of my emails please be so kind to reply to this comment: where is my order and when is it going to be delivered??? Thank you 06/12 Still waiting for my order. Still no news from Mr Salifou.

The Products are amazing! But we received one order really late (Because they forgot it, but in the end we received everything. Expect long delivery times to Europe but amazing products.
