The buying guys are a bunch of jokers. One of these jokers takes my call and agrees on a price for my offering and when I arrive at the store him and his supervisor play cheap negotiation tricks before low balling me on a price. I mean if the tough economic climate has resulted in cash converters resorting to such underhanded and unscrupulous business practices then I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in future.

Dear owners of this store, I would like to know why do you put up with staff with no respect to your closing times? Yesterday 29 August 2020 myself and my fiancé wanted to buy items at your lemontree store in New Redruth, as we got to the door we've noticed the door is closed, the time was 15:55, When one of the staff decided to come to the door, her excuse was"we need to close 15 minutes before closing time"Which I find very peculiar, because either your staff cannot read time correctly, or none of them had the correct time on them at that moment, or they were just simply too lazy to work until the correct closing time. I find it very hard to believe that you cannot find better staff out there, I know of quite a few honest people out there that will work honestly and respectfully. Times like these you should take care of your work, and the well-being of the business. Hope you guys look into this matter, before its too late. Yours sincerely André

Cash converters lemon tree are a bunch of crooks. Who else had the same problem with the lockdown I couldn't pay my intrest due to level 4 lockdown first day of level 3 I call to see if they open so I was told I can come the following day next day I get told they sold my goods. I wasted so much airtime and energy trying to sort it out and still nothing. Are they allowed to do this.

Refusal to help. Cash Converters Lemon Tree Shopping Center. After spending more than 8k in their store over a six month period I have an item I bought the end of November goes faulty. I have misplaced the invoice(this I understand and accept as my own fault) upon asking if they can print me another invoice as all there sales are captured via your ID number they say sorry they can not help me. This is the last time Cash Converters will see me anywhere in the country.

I went to the cash converters yesterday and saw a X-box 360 game called bully that I wanted to purchase, on looking at the price I see 2 prices R69 and then R99, so with the game in hand I approached the guy behind the till wen he saw the R69 price he aggressively started pulling the sticker off as fast as possible immediately as far as I am aware consumerism right says if a product contains 2 prices you have the right to pay the lesser one, but this rude dude at the back of the till wash not willing to negotiate and we had to pay R99 so I just left the game right there, I find it highly unethical business practices to treat your costomer right n such a manner with such a unhelpful attitude never seeing me again can’t believe that they call that service and then the employee treats customer's in a really degrading manor that white guy with the bald head has no people skills how can you have employees of such low caliber? Feeling cheated and ripped off who does the pricing can they not notice that there are 2 prices on the item , you have violated my consumerism rights and I feel strongly to let the consumer counsel of South African know what I have expected can’t believe this shop is still going with there 2,6 review, learn to treat costomers appropriately

Probably the third time i buy damaged goods from this place. All games. I swapped out on 2 occasions. I walk in the other day only to find those games back on the shelf. I would like to return the other game but i can not find the slip. So i literally gave you guys R250 for nothing. Yes it is my fault that i lost the slip, but you should not be selling damaged goods. I am livid.
