Huberta is still there. Not bad, but like most other museums in SA, not at the top of our government's list wrt maintenance and repairs.... Staff helpful and friendly and very cheap to enter. I loved it.

Natural history was ok. All exhibits of German settlers, South African history, World War and Kaffrarian history and general history of the development of the area totally eradicated. No exhibits allowed due to "transformation" by the current historian. Total waste of a journey. Just Huberta otherwise there is a Xhosa Gallery and a Missionary Museum. Racism in its worst form at government level.

Kids loved the natural museum and I enjoyed learning about the local history. We had our very own tour guide too!
