My dog was battling to breath and retching up bile - I called before 12am. The phone was answered promptly by a reassuring Dr who kindly told me how to assess the situation. The next morning, the situation was worse, so I called at 07:40 - they only open at 08:30 - and met the same Dr on the phone who told me to take my dog through as there was someone at the Helderberg Animal Hospital and he would be there at 08:30. I certainly believe that I have found our vet Dr. He was very gentle with my boy and his manner to both of us was professional, soothing and considerate. The fees were reasonable and affordable. I would highly recommend Helderberg Animal Hospital.
