We really enjoyed our stay here at Bamba Lodge and Gavin and Barbara were very pleasant and helpful thank you. The Accommodation was very comfortable and beautiful surroundings and facilities. Units were well equipped and satisfactory for the 5 days we were there. We had a lot to do and enjoy . Thanks also to Sibu who was so pleasant and joyful. Loved it.

I very much enjoyed my stay with my husband at Bamba Lodge. The owners were so helpful. My husband said it was one of the best fishing experiences of his life. Our cottage was a fabulous place to stay. We are hoping to go back next year.

Wonderful hosts, Barbara and Gavin, neat accommodation, very secure premises with its own gate password, well maintained garden, what more can one ask for? Well done to Barbara and Gavin and their man Sbu. Always smiling and ever willing to please their guests. I am sure we must have been a handful, considering there were fourteen of us and all males! The cherry on the top was coming home with three large Kob (Salmon), two just under 10 kg and one over 20kg and that to with the water being extremely cold. Perhaps, it had something to do with our wonderful hosts? I had not been fishing for almost four years due to circumstances whereas in the past, it was a monthly trip to different parts of the Eastern Cape. Should the opportunity arise again, we will certainly contact you, that is if you are not fully booked. Maybe Purple Indigo the next time because of the lovely spot you have on the banks of the mighty Umzimvubu. Nevertheless, our hosts allowed us to fish from Purple Indigo! Thank you!
