I had been living with an autoimmune disease for 2 years and wasn't getting better. I was referred to Dr Martinus who took time to understand my history, did detailed assessments and tests. He is highly gifted and caring. Thank you for changing my life Dr, body, mind and soul. Rehab has taught me so much and I'm walking now! I highly recommend Dr Martinus

I am a 47 year old disable man and I have been disabled for 38 years. I have been misdiagnosed all my life. Dr Martinus took the time to explain my condition to me and he gave me another option that might change my life forever. I highly recommend Dr Martinus to anybody. My wife has been telling me to make an appointment with dr for more than a year know and I am definitely impressed by the outcome. Dr refered me to another specialist in Pretoria and I am definitely going to make an appointment with him. The dr and his staff are dedicated and they put in the extra effort to accommodate their patients. With Dr Martinus you are in good hands.

Good afternoon - and here we go again. We contacted the doctor yesterday for a repeat script and he refused point blank. I sat there for 3 hours waiting for him, and explained to his staff that my daughter had her last medication yesterday. I know she had to go and see him earlier, but she does not have the finances and to explain this to him is like speaking to a wall. He refuses to see me, after making a big seen in the practice he called the receptionist and told them to tell me to wait but to calm down he will see me. After all his appointments he called the receptionist in and when she came out...... he ran out of the rooms. I called him back but he slammed the security door in my face and his receptionist didn't want to open the door for me. I asked if he is not seeing me today, he ignored me and left. Leaving the ladies behind, not man enough to talk to me himself. If you need his assistance is does not come cheap. The receptionist (mother in law) come speaks to me about a previous incident and kept on pointing me like Im a child. I had enough of this doctor and his staff. I requested her file and they said her new doctor must request the file and then Dr will decide if he will send the file. We paid him good money to see him . I have sat in the reception before and seen a pensioners counting out her cents to pay the shortfall (R99.00) but the poor old lady had too pay. We would see him and he would ask us to please contact him when my daughter gets a fit otherwise he will see her in six months. We would call him if she got a fit and the Dr would tell us to make an appointment as he does not do telephonic consultations. We are aware but he expects her to pay him R1100 every time she gets a fit? Well she got a fit, but luckily there is real doctors in Benoni that does care for there patients. And luckily there is neurologist that have the most precious ladies in reception that have compassion and understanding for people.

The receptionists are the most unfriendly, unapproachable and rude people. They booked the wrong test, even after my husband confirmed with them and did not even have the courtesy of apologising. The Dr did not come out to talk to us just told them to rebook the appointment and since it was four months since we last saw them we have to book a consultation first and only then can we book an appointment for the test (this was not relayed to us when we booked the appointment to begin off with). We have been left feeling irate and bitterly disappointed as we want to get answers to how we can progress with treatment for my husbands disease. With the price that is paid to the medical professionals one would assume that they could have some professional courtesy towards their patients and hire competent, approachable reception personnel.

The receptionist is rude and very unfriendly. I called to make an appointment for my daughter and she said If you are a new patient I wIll not make an appointment and put down the phone. I told her it was urgent but I guess I will rather try Linksfield. Very poor reflection of a professional medical service

receptionists are unapproachable they make you feel like you are a nuisance when calling their office and are reluctant to assist. I wonder if this Dr reads these reviews or he is just as ignorant.
