Spectacular panoramic view of the entire Dakensberg mountain range. The Delux Cottages overlooks the Dakensberg in all its splendor. Its our second visit to this magical calming & quiet hillside. I'd highly recommend ordering breakfast & dinner package - truely South African cuisine that's excellent! Its worth the extra few bucks. Appart from the rooms being neat & clean, it inspires a vibe of creativity & wonder. Large open plan rooms thats equipped with all the essentials. Only few people around and private secluded cottages and a Wi-Fi router running at 4Mbps - so great connectivity aswell. #Book well in advance

We had a wonderful stay at Berghouse and cottages, where we spent 4 nights in Oct 2020. The cottages are very nice, neat and clean. They feature an indoor fire place, kitchen and outdoor BBQ grill (Bree) at the veranda. The style and size of the cottages differ (family and couples). That’s why we we recommend you get in touch with the friendly owners Chantal and Vaughn to find the suitable cottage for your needs. A very delicious Breakfast and dinner (home cooked) were included, which is quite advantageous, given the fact that the next city / restaurants are quite far away. However the location ins ideal to explore the Drakensberg region, especially Royal Natal National Park. We can’t wait to stay there again.
Berghouse and Cottages was such an incredible place for my husband and I to spend our honeymoon! Our cottage was neat and beautiful, with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The staff were friendly, and the food was so delicious! We did a few walks from our cottage, and saw amazing views. Their pool was relaxing and perfectly set to see the amphitheater. Loved this place. Will definitely be back one day.
An absolutely amazing time away at Berghouse and Cottages. The room was perfect for a weekend away, the views are spectacular and the pool was a real highlight. Cannot wait to visit again
