Had an accident and paid my R7000 excess as custom. However, on not hearing anything from budget well over a year as to proceedings in the follow up case, I phoned to enquire much to the disdain evident in their claims department voice and word. Being one who works in servitude to the larger populace, it is my belief that this is not a company capable of seeing to the security needs of drivers of any affluence. This was 3 years ago. I have largely worked 2to3 jobs in this time due to the financial times evident in all homes that require a budget for survival. I blame myself for not taking more note of the outgoings on my account as well as I have been trying to bring more income to my account however, once I discovered that budget was still deducting for scratch and dent cover after having canceled in 2016, I am again reaffirmed in my belief that they are not a company that has the true needs of the budgeting nation in mind when they are seeking to debit as many accounts as possible across South Africa. When I called to query the next step forward, Thusi bluntly agreed with me that my next step would be court even though she is aware that my last consultant had not informed me that I indeed had to take my car for inspection before claiming (she told me to only wait out 3months and there would be no need for an inspection), My car is no beauty of the highway nor a gallant scene outside the doorway but she is what I have and we do what we best can in a time where a budget is of necessity to most. That does not mean any old budget will do!
