Lovely new menu. Staff were very accommodating and adjusted the meals according to dietary needs. Clear attention to detail and I will be happy to return. The cheesecake was a bit dense and could be improved. The fresh Kabeljou was delicious!

Beautiful venue. Unfortunately we arrived just after 15:30 on a Sunday and the kitchen was already closed. Cheese tasting at the little shop was a fun experience. The young man who assisted us was full of stories and interesting titbits of the area and product's.
Not only great for beer tasting.. they have a great selection of Klein River cheese! Friendly staff and wonderful veiw.
Wow...great food, loved the gnocchi. And the beer, my favorite is Dead parrot American ipa. Great views and don't miss the cheese on the way out, add a bit of wine and your ready for your overnight...
What a wonderful brewery in stanford just outside of Hermanus. A beautiful gem to visit with great service and even better beer and food. Dog friendly with wonderful outside seating with enough space to be comfortable.
My family and I always come to the Birkenhead for a beer. The waiters are kind and always serve with a smile. It is the best place to find good beer. There is a beautiful pond nearby and a beautiful view over farmland. It is dog friendly and has a large amount of parking space. The food is also very good and it has a menu that caters to adults and children.
Recently renovated. Try the wooded chardonnay if you are not into beer. All of their beers are pretty tasty :) We did not order any food, so I cannot comment on the selection or quality.
Great view, great beer, the wine is kak. But you don't go there for that
