My mother was admitted as an emergency on 19/12/2020, now in the Combined Ward, it was arranged with Mashalane on 22/12/2020 to visit between 16h00 and 17h00 each day, she was compassionate and very helpful. We visited again today as per arrangement, the person in charge was a Capt Maschele, not certain about the spelling of her name, she was rude on our arrival and said no such arrangement was made but allowed us to see her. When we left I asked her how this exactly work, now she was extremely rude and told me I must listen to her.....,we got in an argument and left screaming at each other. On further enquiries I was informed that a new arrangement should be made each day for visitation because it depends on the person in charge.. during COVID. I am very disappointed with the way things are done especially with last mentioned's lady manner of speaking to the family of a very sick old lady, as it seems as if she is doing me a favour, in the meantime she is getting paid for a job which she obviously abuse! And may I add this lady did not even wear a mask...

Worst Hospital I have visited in my life. Staff is arrogant, miss treats patients and lie about what is going on with your loved ones. The 4 days that my grandmother was there she only got more ill by the day. I will not recommend this hospital for your loved ones unless you want to plan a funeral. #DeathHouse

I hate that it takes forever to see a doctor. Then when being reffered to a specialist, it's also the same issue "shortage of doctors". Meanwhile our injuries are getting worse. I have been waiting for 2 months to see an orthopedic doctor. I was told that I must rest my leg and given paracetamol. This started 6 months ago, and everytime I went again I was given paracetamol or bruffen. Please fix this issue.
