Each time I have visitors and they want to see more of Bloemfontein, the National Women's Memorial and War Museum forms part of the outing. The huge garden has lots of place for children to run free. The gardens and facilities are all well maintained. The museum is well kept and you need a day or two to read and browse through all the items on display inside the museum. Thanks for keeping it up to date and relevant.

Very well laid out place with lots of information displayed on the hardships and atrocities which were endured by women during the many wars in South Africa's violent past. Also there's testimony to the courage displayed by women during difficult times. Well worth a visit! Allow yourself at least half a day there though and if possible bring a local guide who can bring it all to life for you. We had Mr Tony Horn with us who's passion and knowledge of South Africa's history was both infectious and fascinating.

Because its simply the truth and factually impressively objective. Balanced version of all parties' role in the war(s). Clean and very professional.

We always enjoy visiting the National Womens Memorial and Museum. Also a very nice place to have a picnic.

Most interesting. A less known traversty of human cruelty and a shameful truth of British inhumanity. One of the low lights of history not to be proud of or repeated.

Beautifully illustrates the struggles that the women faced during the Anglo Boer War, and the important role they played.
