If you're in the Plettenberg Bay area add this amazing restaurant to your list.. Vegan or not you'll love it. I'm a dedicated carnivore but this really impressed me.. Really innovative dishes, a vast spread buffet that was so different and tasty. I took a group of old ladies, bit worried how they would react but this place really impressed us all.. Then there is the water garden and metal work sculptures.. We loved this place. Highly recommended and very friendly and chatty staff...

Best restaurant in South Africa!! Food was AMAZING and the workers are all so welcoming and kind. Not to mention the amazing venue, so relaxing and beautiful. Can’t recommend this place enough. My non-vegan company loved it as well! Will definitely be coming back

Started the afternoon with a walk through the vegetable gardens followed by the lunch buffet which started at 1 PM (180 ZAR per person). The vegan dishes were well prepared and there was a good variety (salad bar, starters, mains and desserts). The location itself is beautifully surrounded by nature and has a mixed ambiance of Tuscany and castle like elements. Definitely recommend!

Hidden paradise in the Plett area, you must visit! The place is beautifully designed with lots of love for the details. Every furniture and every piece even the houses they built themselves and you can feel the great spirit when entering. The gardens are wonderful; they grow everything themselves, veggies, fruits etc.! The best thing of course is the food - we were there during the week for the lunch buffet and it was so delicious! So many different kinds of salad, a soup, lasagna, homemade bread - we tried all and were more then satisfied and happy. My omnivore boyfriend still talks about the delicious chickpea salad and the fig-tomato salad, heavenly good! If you want to buy presents for your loved ones back home, this is the right place to do so. We bought self made chutneys & coffee and I bet everyone will love it! The most wonderful aspect is that the owner Lello is trying to educate students and people in the area to become aware of our lifestyle, that we should take care of our planet more and not exploit soil and animals, by offering his knowledge and place to teach how to do it. 11/10! It is one of the most amazing places I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. We were driving to Knysna on a Friday and decided to stop here for the vegan lunch buffet. It was a-ma-zing, such good and honest food! So good we decided to come back on Saturday for their weekend buffet lunch which is even bigger. And as others mentioned, try to keep some room for dessert, it is so so good. The staff and people who live there are wonderful and friendly, it was nice talking with them and hearing their story. It isn't just the restaurant, they have their own big vegetable garden, coffee roastery, and even a blacksmith and woodshop on the domain. So most of the interior is locally made and designed. What a wonderful place. Also their dog Shadow is adorable!
