What a disappointment. I took a motorcycle frame and bits for powder coating. I collected it once done, upon arrival home it was discovered that the coating was laid on to thin and metal could be seen on many parts giving it a metallic appearance. It took it back and Dean said they would recoat it. This now had the negative effect of being too thick and hiding detail and edges on the components. I inspected it before leaving the premises. Some parts had bubbles all over due to a rag being used before recoating. Dean took some of the parts again and had it chemically stripped and recoated. When started to assemble the bike I realised that a major part that holds the headlight was missing. After calling Dean, his team looked for it and it was eventually located. Again I had to return to collect the part. Some parts like the number plate holder also has runs from too thick powder coating. Now 4 weeks later when I am about to finish assembling the 1979 GS550 I realise that two small brackets holding the rear indicators are also missing. Dean said he will have a look, but to no avail. If I take into consideration my time and fuel spend driving up and down to have word redone (poorly) and to collect missing parts, not to mention missing parts that cannot be located, I regret ever doing business with JG Powder Coaters and would not recommend at all.
Wide variety of colours and good quality
Disgusting service. They left all my parts lying around , I came back on the day I was told they would be ready. They hadn’t even been touched and had been forgotten about and left there. They made excuses and couldn’t accept their error. They also overcharge , I saved R500 by taking the parts elsewhere. Don’t even waste your time trying to do business with them.
