I just want to thank Sunward Park hospital for the amazing service, from the ward sisters in maternity ward for my stay there from the 31st of March to the 4th of April. They were so friendly and careful. The theater staff is amazing in everyway. The best stay in hospital I have ever had. They were absolutely amazing in every way. Thank you to all from the botto of my heart.

As a registered nurse we were tought to assist pt's post surgery with sponge baths/mouthcare/ pressure area care etc and we were proud of doing this as nursing was my passion but something tiggles my brain. Since when does a pt help another pt up to go to the loo where its suppose to be the nurse's responsibility and secondly why does pt's have to lie in bed for 2 days and not been offered help to wash themselfs? Has something changed in the meantime?When their pvt phone rings and pt's are then left un attended as the phone call is more important. In my nursing career phones were'nt even allowed to be answered while caring for patients. Then what also puzzles me was when I phoned the ward to enquire about my daughter, I was told that there was no such pt and dropped the phone in my earAs a registered nurse (even being a student) You had to know who your pt's were inside & out. I can not believe & it breaks my heart that nursing is not a passion anymore! This was not the 1st horrible experience my daughter went through in this hospital, Infact this also happened on her 1st admission on the 16 Dec 2020. She even had a Co-payment of R8500.....For what I ask myself when she is not even been offered basic nursing care and assistance.

We were asked by security reason of being there, answered XRay department then further he asked "which part of the body". Not only is he there for safety but being asked medical questions in public. Same goes with Covid scanning stand. Private hospital without privacy

On Sunday 10th Jan 2021 we rushed my mom in law in for severe liver failure complications. We were treated with respect and care despite the overwhelming amount of pressure due to all the Covid-19 infection pressure along with new patients. Today 12th Jan our Mom passed away peacefully and we can not thank the kind staff of Ward C enough especially PA Elvina Karelse and Sister Denise Wehmeyer who went above and beyond to make our loss just a little less painful and the care and love they showed we will never forget and appreciate with all our hearts. Thank you

Since I started coming to this hospital, I have recieved bad service, they will make you wait for hours at the reception. This is more like public hospital.

Sent to Sunward Park Hospital to be admitted by my house Dr this morning, arrived at the Hospital only to be sent into the street with my bags and told to walk around the hospital, then proceeded to check in as I am having chest pains and my Dr scared of blood clots... Took the incompetent staff over an hour to admit me, needless to say I had to sit outside on the pavement like some hobo to wait to be booked in.... After loosing my cool, things started to happen... Walked myself to the designated ward only to be moved to another ward.... I last had a meal at 8am this morning, I was not offered water or anything g to eat and its already 4:30pm, requested my wife to bring food, only for her to be shown away with the food.... Stay the hell away from this toxic place... At least the nursing staff are nice.... As for the management, rubbish.... The group is called Netcare, should be Nocare.....

5 stars are not enough the staff is super kind they make you feel at home from the reception to the the ladies who did my CT Scan in Radiology l was so scared and intimidated by the big machines but Christine and Anel made me feel comfortable and relaxed they kept assuring me l am in good hands and telling me jokes ,thank you ladies and netcare Sunward park for taking good care of me l have found a new home for my family's medical needs.
