Today is CEKEBRATION DAY 6 Months On the 17th of February Fusion of L5 to S1 and vertebraectanine at T12 C1 Surgery done by Surgeon; Dr. Rammutla and at the Linksfield Clinic. • Week one was scary, Cound't Stand an-aided in hospital, at home in bed and to walk or stand was with walker next to bed. Days went by slowly and I had to push myself into doing normal activities, that included exercises, walking was an exercise. • Before the fusion the pain was unbearable, when standing it would jump from no pain to excruciating in seconds, and losing the feeling of my left leg. I had to sit all of the time, cause walking was painful. This was so severe that even my mood would change into a depressed stage, just as quick as the pain would shoot. Not nice. • As weeks went by, the management of recovery was very important so well explained by Dr.Rammutla. Bed rest, sitting and walking • As a men that enjoys, loves gym, this was not what I was used to, always very energetic and training every week day. So baby steps became fast walk, then small runs, and now 6 months latter, I can run for 2 hours and no pain. Isn't that great? • NEXT IS GYM Now that lockdown is at Level two and Gyms are opened, I can't wait to be There Training again. Dr. Rammutla said it takes 6 months for the fusion to Be solid and 6 months Before I could do any lifting. • So I'm there and ready for it. Referrals for a EXELENT SURGEON, Dr. Rammutla definitely. First, I Thank God for guiding me to Dr Rammutla (also refered) and second, for the Success of the operation. Such a Blessing. How Dr Rammutla explained the procedure, was how it all happened. He always took the care and time to explain all steps. So greatly appreciated.
