Spoke to a very rude councillor, I understand that there are procedures but when the website doesn't answer your questions and the place that should be answering my calls is not, she would not even listen to my needs for 1 minute to point me in the right direction. Horrible rude customer service. Just cut me off while I still talking. Still looking for answers.

Efficient and friendly service I was early for my appointment and seen straight away. In and out within 10 minutes.

I eventually reached an operator who cut me off before I had finished asking my question. She was unhelpful in the extreme and informed me that I could make the six hour drive to the Pretoria office and ask my question there. It really would be better if there was no call centre.

I wish to get the email address of a person higher up than the officer who makes a decision of a visitor visa. As I need to report defamation of character by the officer who made the decision and their lack of paying proper attention to my visa application and I paid the priority service hoping the officer in charge will deal patiently and attentively to my application, not just another application in a production line. I have already emailed the British Home Office Complaints section in the UK. Who in Pretoria British Embassy deals with such complaints

Absolutely terrible service. Paid R 10,000 for 4 family visas. That was 3 weeks ago. No feedback and you simply cannot call. No-one answers. Bad start to what is supposed to be a family holiday.

Terrible service. Promises are not kept. Phones not answered. Diabolical. Are you proud of your so called "service" - shocking beyond belief. Where does it say you cannot get a visitor's visa if you have had a right of abode before? So this was denied. We had to pay a huge amount for a fastback right of abode - promised in 5 working days. 7 days have gone. Phoned England - useless and it cost 20 pounds. Cannot speak to anyone. Shocking and so upset. We will now lose our ticket overseas because of your terrible "don't care" attitude, and to make things worse, we are actually British.
