There's something special about this place. It's enchanting... from the moment you pass through the gates and make your way up the drive lined with ancient oak trees you're in another breathtakingly beautiful world.

Nidderdale will always be my favourite wedding destination in Hemel-en-Aarde. The pristine grounds and old oak trees creates the basis for any dream event. As a wedding coordinator I know how difficult it is to find something this unique and beautiful.

I took photographs of a couple on their wedding day on Nidderdale in Sept 2019. Truly a stunning venue for all year round weddings and events. Beautiful big Oak trees and ample space for parking and partying. Stunning location..we were spoilt for choice on where to take photographs. The hosts was amazing on the day. Would highly recommend this venue for a wedding or event.

Very nice venue, we attended the pinot noir wine festival here in January 2019. The so called gala evening dinner for the festival was a super rip off, we paid R800 a ticket for the meal and were presented with 4 outside "stalls" where they prepared the food, there were no tables and inadequate seating, queues for the food and it was all quite a shambles, definitely not what one would expect for a price tag of R800 per person!! Then one of the stalls ran out of food before i had a chance to try the food. Pete Goff-Wood was one of the chefs and he was serving braaied lamb ribs, perhaps the organisers spent all their funds getting the so called celebrity chefs to the function, the lamb was delicious but I could have saved a hell of a lot and braaied lamb ribs at home for a fraction of what this cost me for the price of the tickets for my wife and I.

Absolutely breathtaking venue. Massive oak trees and rolling lawns. Attended the Hemel en Aarde Pinot Noir Festival here (highly recommend). Venue not open to the public, enquire for private functions.
