A pleasant campsite. Has electricity and water at one central point, so fine for 3 or 4 camping groups. Much more than that and you wont have a long enough extension lead and will have to walk for water. Nice shade under tall trees in the afternoon. Wind can pick up quite strong at various times. Ablutions are good, and no problems with hot water. Only negative thing is the water pump is noisy, but you only run it when you need water in the ablutions, and then switch it off again. A really nice 4x4 trail with awesome views over Tankwa. After a white knuckle ride down Banggat you continue to the bottom and ultimately join the Ouberg Pas at the bottom. You return to the campsite via Ouberg Pas. Taking your time to enjoy the views, walking obstacles first, completing the Grannies Bum play area and stopping for lunch, the trail will take about 6 hours.
