Hadn't been to 1890 for a while and we loved it! Sushi is super fresh and yum. Service is friendly and efficient. A real gem in the heart of Observatory. We will definitely be back! Good to book a table if you are going later in the evening.

Very cosy setting with multiple seating areas! The staff are super friendly and go the extra mile for your order. The food was impeccable and I would definitely return/recommend this as a top quality Sushi place. Their COVID precautions are all in place and screening at the door is required, great for a safe and clean experience!
Little and nice place in Observatory. You can sit at the bar and take sushi yourself or you can sit down at the table and order what you want. I personally love sushi and I found this one extremely good and with high quality ingredients. I was impressed. You don't have to book or wait for your table and you can easily park outside along the road.

possibly one of the best sushi house in Cape Town... underdiscovered little gem in Trill road, Obz. Fish is always fresh, and prepared right in front of you! Choices of plates on the conveyor is always amazing.... if you have not been here, trust me - it's worth the effort,! cheap secure parking around the corner at Pepper Square behind the Spar....
This is one of the top rated sushi restaurants in cape town and the sushi doesn't disappoint. But the venue is fairly small and crowded.
