Staff were very helpful. They had some of the parts I was looking for and were prepared to negotiate a better price when I requested it. They have some stripped VW models and I know where to go back when I need something for my beloved old Caravelle in the future..

Friendly and nice when you buy something. (I have spend a few thousand in last two years at their scrapyard) Not so nice when you want to return something. I bought two used plastic parts for a bakkie that I planned to purchased later that same day. When the bakkie deal fell through, I took the two parts back to them in a better condition as I have cleaned it as soon as I got it from them. Kurt refused to refund me the R385 telling the salesman to tell me that his "labour rate" is more than the R385 The poorest of poor excuses.(Not more than 2 minutes needed for a refund) I was about to purchase a chrome bumper for my son's Hilux at R2 250 when Kurt came up with this pathetic attitude. Needless to say, I did not order the bumper and they will not see me again.

Hard to find salvage parts, stripper is not helpful. The staff don't know the full range of stock available online, its better to order online and collect.
