LOVED IT!!! The 'Poke Bowl' was absolutely amazing! And the sushi is really really good too! I love that they have vegan options and some other meals besides just sushi too! Also, the staff here is super friendly and efficient. Would recommend this spot to everyone!

My favourite sushi spot in town! Although the sushi takes a time to be prepared, it is definitely worth the wait!! Be it sit down or take away,, Active Sushi on Bree never disappoints. I would recommend the signature dishes, especially the pretty woman and tempura bomb!
Best sushi for the best price range. I always get the "eat as much as you like option". Its a really good way of testing out things that you wouldn't normally get. I recommend getting any of their deep fried sushi or the bamboo rolls, they're my favourite ones. The waiters are very friendly and the sushi comes fast. Love it.

We had a really good experience at Active sushi. The sushi was fresh, well priced and beautifully presented. Covid protocols followed strictly. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The best service I’ve experienced in Cape Town in a long time. Well done!
My Fiance and I went to this particular active sushi on two separate occasions. The first night we ordered a platter to share and on the other, the all you can eat buffet (x2) On the first night the sushi was delicious and the fish to rice ratio was great. On the second occasion, they bombarded the sushi with so much rice that we could hardly handle one order. Why offer a buffet if you are going to destroy the meal with rice? This really made me feel as though the restaurant is trying to cut costs. Congratulations, we ordered 1 plate of food and will not be returning or advocating to friends and family. If you go to this active sushi, avoid the buffet.
The decor is high class, very cozy and attractive. Service is excellent with the man in charge taking a interest in my being served well. Sushi delicious and the special lunch menu a real bargain. Well done Active Sushi !!
Great food, chilled out and professional staff, beautiful decor and a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend the vegan mushroom bomb. Would really like to come back to try them all!
