Another one of my favorite wines is Altydgedacht Great Wine, Beautiful Cellar Tasting Room, Fantastic Staff! I hope their restaurant opens again soon, because their food was delicious. I love my wine tasting and it’s a privilege to have so many beautiful wine farms literary around the corner from my home.

I actually really love this farm because of its rich history and even did some research on it. It once was owned by fourth-generation cattle, sheep, wheat and wine farmer Denis Parker, whose great-grandfather George Francis Parker had purchased the Durbanville farm in 1851. Denis Parker died of a fatal gun shot and his wife, who knew nothing about wine farming was left to run the farm. They should make a movie about this, it's a great story.

Wellington was a very good host and we enjoyed every moment of our visit. Will be back again.

One of the oldest wine farms in Durbanville. It is quite an historical farm and the wine tasting is pleasant enough

One of the oldest wine farms in the area with the Parker family still at the helm of the winery. Great shaded area at the restaurant with kids playground. Restaurant is fairly overpriced although food quality is of reasonable quality; Seeing that it helps maintain the farm it can be overlooked. Can't help but think the farm has loads more potential, very under utilised. Nonetheless, a great relaxing escape at the edge of the suburbs.

Absolutely loved it. Probably the best white wine on the Durbanville Wine Route, the platter was delicious. You can order a platter or create your own from the menu. Sitting outside, the dogs, the service everything was just really nice.

A little dirt road leads up to the most interesting place among the trees in what only be described as a working farm that welcomes visitors. Even the remnants of the slave bell are still standing. Find your way there and you will be delighted by all the gastronomic activities.
