It's great to be able to rent a kayak for the day and go on wonderful adventures. Kayaks are in good condition the owner is friendly and helpful. You can get all the gear you need from life jackets to waterproof bags for a phone. The only reason for a 4 star rating is the limited opening hours. Not open on Sundays and only open at 9am and close at 3pm... But if you are organized you can pick up the kayak at close of business the day before. Have been a few times and have had only positive experiences! Highly recommend

Last week a friend and I rented a kayak from Aquatrails and paddled from Fish Hoek to Simonstown. The whole experience was extremely enjoyable and I will definitely be back soon. Hugh, the owner, was very kind and helpful. He gave us useful instructions on how to go about our adventure and even gave us a ride back from Simonstown to Fish Hoek in his bakkie. Thanks again Hugh!
If being out on the ocean is your thing then you can't go wrong here. Great, friendly service and competitive prices. I'll be back for sure.

Helpful friendly service if you the market for a new or used canoe or kayak.
We took the kayak tour with a group of two adults, two teenagers, and two younger children. Everyone had a great time (and that's not always easy with this group!). Our guide, Ed, was fun and very knowledgeable. The 2.5 hour trip was relaxed and easy for the whole group to keep pace. We'll be back next year!
