As an ardent fan of LED Lenser products, I've owned a number of their torches over the years. In particular, I've had a succession of H14 headlamps, which work very, very hard for me and suffer some wear and tear. Whenever I've had occasion to require backup from Awesome Tools, the service has been .. well, nothing short of awesome! Shortly after the 850-lumen H14R.2 rechargeable headlamp was released, I upgraded to it (from an H14R) in 2014. The H14R.2 had a 5-year warranty, and when it failed in 2016 (no charging), Awesome Tools replaced it with a brand new one, of a slightly upgraded model (1000 lumen) - no quibbles, and no questions asked. Just the other day when I dropped the H14R.2 and broke the casing, I was able to obtain a new casing - again, no hassle, and this was out-of-warranty service. A very reasonable price, delivered by courier, and the spare parts were in my hands 2 days later. Quality exists not only in the product itself, but in the class of backup and service available for it. Kudos to you guys!

I was allowed to hand in my leatherman for repair even though they were under level 3 lock down, all covid 19 protocol was in place I just felt I was kept waiting for longer than was necessary. The female staff were friendly not so much the males they seem to not enjoy their jobs just an observation. There is no other Leatherman repair center in Cape Town, at least non I know of so I have to stick with Awesome Tools, and they seem to know it.

I sent my leatherman Wave to Awesome tools. It was well used with over 10 years of never leaving my side. There were a few things that needed attention. They sorted everything out and sent me my refurbished tool. Great service and turn around time. Thank you!!

Awesome product and awesome service. If you are buying elsewhere you are being silly. I sent three torches in for repair that my nightwatchmen use and two were replaced and one repaired. I am so pleased.Also my leatherman service has always been fantastic.

BE WARNED!!! AWESOME TOOLS tried to rip me off with the price. My leather man is an extension of my right hand(great product) I recently went to AWESOME TOOLS to purchase a new pouch. The new pouch could accommodate a small torch. Led Lenser p2r core fits perfectly. Awesome tools price R915 excl vat. Thought this sounded a bit expensive. Did a quick Google search. OUTDOOR WAREHOUSE, R399 incl vat. I was very disappointed. A, they were ripping me off. B, they were not prepared to match the price. The sleek counter assistant tried to persuade me that OUTDOOR WAREHOUSE had a different model. P2R CORE happens to be exactly the same at OUTDOOR WAREHOUSE as it is at AWESOME TOOLS. I find it difficult to believe that 150% price increase is justified by any stretchof the imagination. Even post Covid. Especially since AWESOME TOOLS supply the other retailers like CAPE UNION MART and OUTDOOR WAREHOUSE.

Leatherman is an awesome tool but Awesome Tools' service these days is far from it. I have a Sidekick which literally is my go-to fix for most things as Leatherman intended. I've had reason to call on their Somerset West service facility before and was fixed up immediately however when I recently called forward to arrange a visit (I'm from Knysna) their service manager gave me a long story about how behind they are and I should expect a delay of three months or more. Covid implications aside, if the product you represent has built its reputation on service excellence and its users are your greatest advert (and asset) its elementary they should be your primary focus, but it wasn't and the disappointing response I got from the manager came with a measure of arrogance. Awesome Tools is on a slippery slope.
