Best Tapas in Cape Town. One of the most beautiful backdrops of Table Mountain. The staff are awesome and very friendly. Great service and the food is spectacular! One of the few places you can smoke a cigar outside after your meal and enjoy it with a whiskey or espresso. Thank you to the Bascule team for always making it memorable.

Amazing selection of whisky and whiskeys. If you're curious about the differences between single malt vs blend vs highlands and lowlands then Bascule is a great place to learn. You can also book a guide over the phone to help with your whisky journey.

Any whisky lover or connoisseur's dream!! The widest selection of whisky you will find. Just be prepared to spend some money because it aint cheap. They offer mini tastings which are quite nice as you can get to taste a few whiskies in a particular brand range or region. You can even enjoy a fancy cigar with your whisky! They also offer some delicious snacks and various other drinks. Vibe is very pleasant with friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Although they open at 9am, they only serve alcohol from 10am onwards

My husband and I very much enjoyed our experience here, highly reccomend it to any whiskey lovers or anyone who enjoys harbor views with tasty food and amazing service. We found the Tapas portions of food were very generous and fair priced, recommend the Salt & Pepper Squid and Salmon Rosti. The atmosphere has lots of character and amazing views, exceptionally executed food, superior service and the best whiskey selection we have ever seen. One of the highlights of our trips to Cape Town!

Phenomenal selection of whiskey. The self tasters are a really good idea, you get 3 or 4 themed tasters with tasting notes. It's an excellent way to try new whiskies. I've been a few times and have always had a good time. The food is great too, nice bar snacks to go with your drinks. This place is a pay day joint only, or bring foreign currency, it's incredibly expensive for locals, hence the 4 star rating.
