It's a nice store with nice staff but I'm disappointed with the customer service here. I went to return a cushion that I bought (turns out, it literally hurts me to sit on buckwheat :-/) and they informed me that they don't do exchanges or returns. I would have liked to have known before my purchase (so I'm writing this review to let others now). It doesn't make much sense as the cover is literally made to be washable and reused... The woman working here felt sorry and told me if I bought a bolster I could have 20% off but that means I would've spent over 500 rand for a cushion that I don't even know would be a fit for me the second time around. So disappointed :(

I've been looking to update my yoga equipment to reflect a little more of my personality without compromising on quality and boy did Billy the Bee deliver! My Eco Lux mat has definitely added more beauty to my yoga space & has made my practice, quite literally, more grounded (theres nothing more disorienting for me than being in Warrior 3 or Dancer pose when your mat is too thick to feel the ground). Tip: the grip/traction is amazing only once your body starts generating more heat, I find that I start slipping during my first downward facing dog. I spritz a tiny amount of Aum mat cleaner or water on my hands & problem solved My Everything Fits Violet Mandala bag has garnered many compliments & is such a dream to own. It fits my entire life in it, & then some more. It doesn't fit my eco lux mat, but holds my eco sticky with ease. I managed to pack for a 3-day retreat including my mat using just this bag. The lavender eye pillow is a necessity for me because I'm one of those that tend to frown and tense my eye area during shavasana. This made my meditation deeper & has helped me fall asleep so much faster at night. I can't recommend it enough. Finally, the Aum mat cleaner is just magical. Unraveling my yoga mat emits the most uplifting & invigorating scent that everyone around you will appreciate, compared to the standard alcohol scented studio mat cleaner. Sorry for the longest review ever but I will sing Billy the Bee's praises on a megaphone all day, everyday. They are so friendly, patient and it's by far the most welcoming, user friendly company. I live in Johannesburg and my order always reaches me in 2 days flat. Thank you Billy the Bee!
