Preparing Africa's future for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Born to be Free was founded in July 2016 by 5 students in Cape Town. Our first project began on Mandela Day 2016 where we installed our first computers at West End Primary - a prep school in Mitchells Plain, South Africa. Know for its gang territories, underprivileged and lack of good education - it was a proud moment for us as a group, the school and it was a good start to our NPC. Born To Be Free is an Non-profit organization that looks to promote youth development in South Africa, and as an organization it is driven by the realization that the youth need to work together to achieve sustainable growth in underdeveloped areas in South Africa. The focus is on education and the transfer of skills that will be able to benefit the youth, and South Africa as a country for years to come. Our main objective is to increase computer literacy in areas that are not currently getting these skills in their schools. With the help fundraising we are determined to get computers in as many schools as we can and to improve the skills of the youth of South Africa from an early age. These fundraisers are held throughout the year, with prominent guest speakers from politicians, sportsmen, doctors and educators. We look forward to making a difference for South Africa, alongside you, and many more South Africans.
