A quaint little spot with delicious food. The starters were very scrumptious. We had bbq buffalo wings and prawn wraps and for mains, the popular lobster roll. Everything was amazing and the service was great too. Thanks Jessie for the friendly and efficient service received yesterday. Well done team B&G!

Great service. 2For1 cocktails are great and they have a real kick. One of the best burgers I have ever had. I tasted my wife's lobster roll and just wow.

Awesome experience, delicious food, amazing service. Definitely worth a stop! Will definitely come back again and try out more things from the menu. The 2 for 1 deals are super, and the bar bites were delicious starters before our main meals. Short sweet menu with a nice variety and an awesome vibe.

Visited on Monday 05/03/2021. Having read mostly good reviews and seeing excellent media management and follow up by the owners, I decided to give it a for a party of 4. The ambiance is good and arrangements were handled efficiently. The cocktails were varying from average to good. The burgers ( 3xWolf and 1x B&L ) were commented by the diners as dry and lacking. My own burger was littered with 5 chunks of sinew and taste of the beef was sub par and the overall burger just felt dry. Burgers are very overpriced for what they offer. Return visit for me unlikely. The waitress, Carin, tried her very best and deserves a pat on the back.

I cannot believe how I got conned. I ordered the Lobster Roll and was encouraged to upgrade to more Lobster, R309 was the price. I was more than happy to invest in an experience that was tempting and unique. Sadly the roll was actually a loaf of bread cleverly sliced. There was no ways that the Lobster was sufficient nor was the dish well seasoned or spiced. The salad offering was an insult. Two onion rings, two croutons and the rest was green leafs. All with a sprinkle of balsamic. The thin fries were deliciously hot and a fair portion. My Partners, Legacy Burger was okay, but definitely not worth the R149. Minimal pickles and sauce was supposed to be overlooked because of a fat serving of patty. Not impressed at all. The menu has 3 items of food and then you need a waiter to explain the floating chalk board. It makes no sense. The service ..... was okay for a burger joint... but not a great experience for a Lobster joint that charges such absorbant prices for Lobster sandwiches and super expensive burgers. I won't bother recommending this establishment.

Great quality food. Superb burgers and amazing Lobster. Host and staff polite, kind and very supportive. Was an overall top experience and excellent food. Starters, main and dessert was all super!!! Definitely a must have dining experience in Cape Town.

Updated review, I've been ordering from B&L for about 3 years, and I've only gotten outstanding service & food. However, last night we got a burger that fell below their normal quality. Positively, their chicken burgers are really amazing, it's one of the biggest reasons we started ordering from them in the first place, highly recommended. I originally had a 2 star review up as they hadn't been able to contact me, but they called me to sort out the situation, we'll be keeping in touch. I hope to make this a 5 star review in the future, we really do love B&L, it's some of the best burgers in cape town by far, the price really shows on the quality, usually.
