We are in 2020 now and it is sad that a successful restaurant such as Burger King Canal Walk is running a store that lacks management, cleanliness and a general pride in customer satisfaction. Pictures show the ice machine that doesn't have a cover on and wasn't working at the time I was there. Tiles are falling off the walls and floors look like they haven't been swept in a while.

Service was fantastic, the restaurant was buzzing with people and most importantly, the food and refreshments were tasty and fresh. Although the sitting area is small, this is still a great spot for a quick bite with some mates. It's not as cheap as McDs, but the quality is incomparable! Despite this, there is still a great variety on the menu - even if you're on a budget.

With food slightly above average, the environment was a total let down. Tables were dirty and have to be cleaned by yourself. The place lacked structure before but even more now while we are in a midst of a pandemic

Pathetic service, very rude staff. Was very short and unhelpful towards my colleague who was ordering a large order for our group as well as then when I made a separate order for a milkshake they said they can’t as the stuff was frozen? And then yet the people directly behind me were able to make an order for the exact same milkshake I made an order for? Our receipt said our server was a Nadine k, and the other one that failed to help didn’t have a name tag on.

The wait was not too long before we got our burgers. As for the taste, I doubt the name "Burger King" follows it. Well, maybe it's the burgers we chosed. But as I usually recommend places to my friends tourists, I'm not yet convinced about this place.

Terrible experience with a MrDelivery Order. The restaurant staff got the order 60% correct. They sealed the bags and sent the driver on the way. Most of the missing order should have been in the sealed bag. I then complained on socials & via the app - but instead of accepting any criticism or delving into contextually relevant information, the Burger King social media team blamed the 3rd party service and attempted to wash their hands of any responsibility (despite using a social media tool likes BrandsEye, which helps marketing teams prioritise important social media conversations in order to mitigate risk & improve customer satisfaction). However, instead of authentically engaging with the issue this sub-par team attempted to deflect all responsibility to the 3rd party delivery app. I mean, even McDonalds can get human responses right. 0/10 score for the Burger King bots - successfully missing the entire point behind social media engagement. Y'all could set up a chat bot and I would have had a better experience complaining and getting authentic feedback. I haven't even heard back from the Mr Delivery app, but I'm nowhere near as frustrated with them as I am with this ineffective, lackluster, and altogether unconvincing Burger King response. Dear Burger King social team, stick to running paid for ads and leave the organic engagement to people who actually give a toss. Y'all are too disingenuous for words.

I am not a fan of the popular whopper but the chips and chilli chicken is good. The jalapeno fries is one of the latest additions to the menu and is also tasty. Ordering is relatively quick but there is a long wait once your order is put in - even when the store is not busy. Perhaps an expected waiting time should be given as there is an expectation that 'fast food' would be fast. The food is good but should be immediately after being served as the chips are not nice cold. The Bar-one Fushion is a good option for dessert, if it is made well, sometimes it is made well with enough sauce swirled in, other times it is basically just vanilla soft-serve ice cream with a hint of chocolate. The restaurant does get busy so there is often a wait for your meal, depending on what you ordered.
