So i had visit the Cape Animal Medical Centre again yesterday after 3 yrs to get advise on my senior female cat. She was a very good age and had a great life for 20 years. She had not been feeling well for 3 days and we decided to have it looked at. Thanks to the wonderful staff and doctors @CAMC they immediately assisted us and allowed us to be around her while they examined her.. The doctor was warm towards phoebe and treated her so well. It made me feel so comfortable and happy knowing she was in good hands. Unfortunately we weren't given great news and had to put our beautiful angel Pheobe to rest... We miss her dearly. We were very pleased on the overall experience we had received from CAMC. They have taken great care of both Garfield and Pheobe... #catlovers#partofthefamily#alwaysloved

I was very impressed with the staff and the facility, as they were very professional in addressing the needs of my dog who was severely injured and bitten by a pitbull in the area. It is evident that the staff are highly skilled and very knowledgeable in what they do, and this allowed us to be comfortable in leaving Patsy in their capable hands. I am also very appreciative of the post-procedure treatment, as the doctors and staff have been providing me with the much needed additional guidance via email and telephonically, on how to care for her at home and help speed up the recovery process.

After being a customer for over 6 years, today I was made to wait with an anxious cat for over 25 minutes past the time of my appointment. Not once did the team of three receptionists approach me to communicate any delays or updates. When I finally got to see a vet, it happened to be a vet my cat had never seen and would assuredly become hostile to. Upon asking where my regular vet, whom I trust implicitly was, I was told she was no longer with the business. I decided to speak to management to address the issues and was informed by said manager that she saw me waiting for a long time (yet did nothing). I was told I could come back between 4-8pm. I decided to leave after having almost 40 minutes of my time wasted and swore never to return. My advice to said business is: get better trained and attentive receptionists and show some compassion, understanding and acknowledge customers. To prospective customers I’d like to hazard against going here, even in an emergency. There are far better and more customer/animal friendly vets around that would be glad for the business as the Cape Animal Clinic has become nothing more than a glorified Medi-Clinic for pets.

From having very little hope of our frail Yorkie, Coco, surviving a broken jaw to having her run around and eating and drinking and recovering magnificently within a few days of her operation - we could never express enough appreciation to Dr Tutt and his fantastic team.
