The dentist rushed her job with me and showed no care or concern for the pain & discomfort I endured from this. It was a very unpleasant experience.
I have had my dentures made by you and it fell and chipped .I was very happy with it after it was replaced but unfortunately very disappointed with the dentist that I saw .She not only did not take my mould correctly but I also saw her because my tongue was cutting when it touches on my bottom permanent set of teeth .She charged me R800 but the problem was still there I complained about it still cutting my tongue but was told there nothing more can be done .l am at this moment looking for another dentist

They tried very hard to match the colour of partial dentures to existing teeth, thank you for that Cape Dentures, my own fault that I did not check the shape of teeth as did have the chance. Unfortunately impressions were not taken properly resulting in the original Steel Frame that was perfect not fitting now and causing great discomfort. They were informed of this before I left the clinic, whereby I was told they cannot be held responsible for that. I did try to get another appointment on a Saturday as they do advertise being open and did not want to take another full day off work as am 170 km away. The curt answer was "Sorry they are not open on a Saturday". Would have been courteous if they had at least asked me what the problem is and if they could try and accommodate me on another day. Your Advertisement certainly does not match the Service.... hopefully for future clientele this is and was, an isolated case. You have a lot to learn from the Krugersdorp Laboratory of which I was a happy patron for many year's.

My mother phoned Cape Dentures a while ago to find out if her medical aid will cover costs for her teeth at Cape Dentures. Two weeks ago she received a phonecall from the one receptionist saying that everything will be covered. My mom made the appointment and this morning my mom and dad (two pensioners) came all the way from Wellington for her appointment at 8:30. At about 9:30 my mom phoned me in tears saying that after all the fittings were done AND the technicians has started with the teeth the one lady came and said there has been a mistake and that the medical aid did in fact not approve it! My mom was in shock when she saw the documentation sent to Cape Dentures as it clearly says rejected. So my mother asked them how can you not see that it was not approved? The lady responded with " the secretary was sick that week and she wasnt feeling well so she made a mistake" (?!!!). The other secretary even told my mom "I dont know how she missed it and how she misread the document" I left work to go fetch my mom. I told the secretary that my parents came all this way as she said it was authorized ( she even phoned to confirm!) and then halfway through you stop and say no? What if the teeth were done? Who would have paid? What about the petrol that they wasted to come to Cape Town in the morning traffic. She said " sorry mrs it was my mistake." So I said that the point is we are here and she wont be helped today and she said " I told your mom she can still get the teeth if she pays for it now" (??????). R6750! Im VERY dissapointed. We dont accept the apology. This should be escalated to whoever is in charge there. Unprofessional and no regard for their patients. (And this isnt even the first time the experience at Cape Dentures was bad). NEVER AGAIN!
