How long does it take for a child's textbook to get from Port Elizabeth to Sedgefield using the post office (300km)? Parcel sent on 28 September and it's now 10 October. Apparently it has to go via first go past Sedgefield to CapeTown (about 900km) then back to Sedgefield (600 km), ie 1500 km instead of 300km. How inefficient can you be? Certainly the last time we'll be using the post office to post anything. I'm sure they'll be the next inline waiting for government handouts to stop pay salaries. Not long before they go the same way as SAA I'm afraid

No one answers the phone,terrible service.my parcel is stuck there for 4 months now ...

It took some time to get hold of someone on the phone. Atleast 5 times. The lady politely explained to me how to retrieve my parcel. The service once I arrived there was solid. The security at the gate explained in detail where to go. I was helped quickly by the staff. I think it took me a whole of 10-15 mins for them to find my package, pay the VAT and sign the docs. The people were professional and doing their jobs.

i was pleasantly surprised to have my call to Cape Mail Hub answered within minutes by a very friendly lady called Nosi - she informed me that my parcel that i have been waiting for and that has been stuck at Cape Mail Hub for some time is still with Customs, but should have received attention some time ago. She advised that she would send a mail internally to Customs to address the matter and would cc me in - so far so good
