What a brilliant experience! Mark and his son are passionate about rum and it comes through in how they host the tasting experience. You get a tour of the distillery, a brief history of rum and a tasting of their three rums. Rum is definitely my new favourite spirit after this experience.

As non-drinker I attended a tour of the Cape of Storms distillery with two rum drinkers, and was immediately impressed with both the service, knowledge and experience as a whole. In fact, as someone who has never touched any alcohol, it almost had me reaching for a glass. Well worth the time and money. Thank you to the team for the hospitality.

Cape of Storms is a family run small batch rum distillery in Cape Town. The tour and tasting are highly entertaining and very informative. The three rums currently in production are really tasty. The owners explained their philosophy for making the rum which is to use the purest ingredients with no additives whatsoever. The passion for their products certainly shines through! We can highly recommend a visit.
