A breathtaking place, one can pick roses for R6.50 or you can pick your own grapes for R20 per kg I think. Oh there's a brunch/cafe spot where you can chill and have a variety of meals they offer. Make sure you bring your family, it's a fun experience!!

Delightful, beautiful venue. Cannot fault the food either. We were here two days in a row for lunch but unfortunately the service was a disaster both times. Waiter not at all attentive, forgot about us both days. On first day brought the wrong bill and second day had to keep getting up to look for the waiter. If you want a beautiful venue, delicious food and not too phased about whether or not you get service, or the right invoice can definitely recommend.
Absolutely stunning place!! A must see in Cape Town. Spend the day walking around the beautiful gardens and pick some roses (R6.50 a rose - not bad at all!!), and definitely have a cup of coffee and cake/lunch at the little restaurant. Visited March/April and there were still lots of roses.
So my mom recommended this place to me. So cool!!! I spent most of my time trying to entrust the horses (mostly to see if I am still allergic if I am being honest) but wow it's so pretty! A place where you are encouraged to taste before taking and where the few bugs don't matter so much right in the middle of town, I will be going as often as I can. I do advise to get your own drinks beforehand though.
Absolutely amazing view. Wonderful horse farm at the bottom. The food they have there is decently priced and the view is amazing, You can go down to the horse farm below and feed the horses some grass. The waitering service at the restaurant is great! and the rose picking is a wonderful idea for a date.
We had lunch there and the food is very good. We could take our dogs along. It has got a beautiful view . Great to visit because it is so near to town and the roses are very beautiful. Nice idea to be able to pick either your own roses or grapes or figs. Worth a visit.
The view and roses are breathtakingly stunning. One can cut ones own selection of roses but it's a shame to see how many blooms are cut and carelessly discarded to go to waste and get trampled on. Beautiful surroundings to picnic or enjoy long walks while picking grapes/ figs. The restaurant offers a small but tasty menu - pity that Lays crisps are only available with burgers/ prego roll - potato wedges/ chips would be a far better option. Service is a tad slow & the cost of wine at R60 per glass is very steep - basically the price of a bottle of white wine.
Beautiful scenic spot on Wynberg Hill. We sat outside in the sun viewing the Cape Peninsula mountains, while we had eats. I had a very large English breakfast for R98 while my wife had Earl Grey tea & delicious lemon meringue pie. After that we picked a few roses for her birthday. They have a large variety of roses, all identified e.g. Vera Johns, Double Delight, etc.
