Every single week the Bible is taught & the sermons are always encouraging and challenging. The general vibe is friendly, relaxed, comfortable & welcoming. It's a wonderful church especially if you have a baby - there's a cry room for parents with babies and a special bathroom too.

Christ Church, Somerset West, has a new church building designed by one of South Africa's top architects. It was officially opened yesterday, 6 October 2019. As one approaches the church on the hill it looks like a water tower but the tower is designed to give a feeling of space inside. Natural light comes through the cross-shaped roof. No lights are needed in daytime. The acoustics too are top notch; important not only for singing but for preaching God's Word, the Bible. The senior minister, Gavin Millard, is an outstanding Bible teacher. Outside the building is a large grass courtyard to converse over filter coffee & tea after the service. The church too has an excellent children's programme & facilities. Pay a visit!

The word shared very biblically based. Even though was visiting & from another denomination I felt comfortable partaking of Holy Communion. I do recommend more members engage with new faces. This helps them feel welcome
