This place is amazing! Top of the range equiptment and amazing staff! I did there open day today and i was seriously impressed. You get a tour with the SRC and afterwards have a 1 on 1 with the HOD of the department. They take education seriously and are really worth the money.

Payed my daughter's account in full, December 2019. You are now threatening to hand me over to legal action for arrears. Where does this amount come from? In fact. City Varsity owes us. We payed for a course in 2018. The course was cancelled. Reoffered in 2019 and we were billed again. You owe us money. I am not even able to contact your admin to sort out this matter.

Stay away. Open days are a big show. Reality is far from that. Industry professionals means that the lecturers put their own interests first. Takes them 3 months to get your email address correct on their system to receive all the required info, but will not resend the missing info. First semesters marks are incorrect when sent out. Weak students show a pass, strong students show a fail. H. O. D, lecturer spends from May to October away pursuing own interests and there is no relief lecturer for those electives. Do not pay the year, in full, upfront as you will not get a refund when you leave because of the true state of affairs. When you raise these issues, you are kept on a line for months. Meetings get cancelled, so eventually you are past getting a refund, according to them. I can go on. Join this institution at your own peril. You have been warned. I as a parent had to watch how my child's dreams were shattered., We made no hasty decision. We went to 3 open days over 3 years whilst he completed his schooling. He was already actively involved with workshops at CV. He couldn't wait to get there. Then the true colours of CV appeared. Don't get me started on overcrowded classes and inferior equipment and YouTube videos as lessons. I don't want the same to happen to you. Don't be swayed by open day students either. They bursary students, they can only smile and wave. Find paying students to hear how it really is there......

Disgusting. Took full course money upfront R 69 000for a coding course for my son in 2019 Couldn't find a lecturer in the last six months therefore no diploma or certificate. Offered refund... Still waiting. Messed up my son's year and his bursary... Never in my life have I experienced this kind of behaviour from a so called professional institution.... So wrong on so many levels...

I wish I could put on negative stars honestly. To everyone who took a tour and gave it 5 stars, do you really think they going to show you their worst on the first day? If you want to pull your hair out and waste R60 000 a year, then you've come to the right place thank you City Varsity.
