Dr Marli Conradie impresses as a very good endocrinologist. However, trying to obtain results/feedback, responses to emails/messages/queries, etc. are almost impossible. One should not have a private practice if you cannot provide your private patients with decent responsive service.

Unfortunately this is the least star I can give. She supposed to be our dr for a long time, with visits, tests; paying her. But somehow when we need our repeat prescription last 3 weeks no reply to our mail, for a week no reply to phone, even today after calling twice our dear doctor is so busy with admin that NOT CAPABLE of just signing a prescription. Dear prospective patient, if you need proper attention. GO FIND YOURSELF A BETTER DOCTOR, WHO CARES. Thanks

Dr Conradie , unlike many of the endocrinoligists i dealt with in the southern suburbs of Cape Town , was down to earth , helpful and empathetic . She was apparently given a very senior post at Tygerberg Hospital which subsequently limited her ability to take on private patients . Had she continued to have been available to private patients i would gladly have continued consulting with her up to and after having a thyroidectomy.
