It was an amazing trip from start to finish. Nick was our tour guide and he was knowledgeable, fun and looked after us really well. The back packers' accommodations were very clean and all completely different from each other. The food they served was fantastic, we had dinner in three of them and breakfast in all of them. Our favourite activity was the kayaking, hike and swim in Wilderness National Park. We also enjoyed the wine tasting and caves on Day 2. We lucked out at Addo Elephant Park seeing lions and jackals on the early morning safari drive and many elephants and some buffalo later in the day. The group ranged from early 30's to 70's in age and everyone was super friendly and fitted in really well. I was traveling with my sister.

Wow. I loved the experience. We took the 6 day trip, from West to east of the southern cape and couldn't ask for a better experience. Loved the backpackers accommodation, the wonderful food and awesome guide Stephanie! Highly recommended!

Loved it, got to see a lot in just under a week. Very punctual which is not easy with a large group but very important. Would recommend this trip to anyone wanting a taste of the garden route. I had my doubts traveling with a group but it was so much fun!

I don't even know where to begin as there is so much to say! First, Cindy in the office is an incredible person and so knowledgeable! We were planning trips to take safely in a post lockdown/travel now allowed world so it was unique! I first did West Coast trip for 2 days and Garden Route for 4 nights/5 days on separate trips! AMAZING. I can't possibly write this review without mentioning the Guide, Rochelle. I can't say enough amazing things about Rochelle. She has incredible energy, enthusiasm, professionalism and is dedicated to her job. She is meant to work with people. It is her focus to ensure you are having the trip of a lifetime, she cares so much about each client. I know we will keep in touch for a lifetime. I haven't often traveled with a guide so it was wonderful to learn more about South Africans. She would chat with locals and we truly were connected to the people in each area. She ensured we saw whales and spectacular scenery. She knows I love food so was particular with all the foodie stops. I am so thankful for Earthstompers, Cindy and Rochelle! No matter where you go with them it will be great! They have many fantastic relationships with accommodations and local onsite activities in each area etc.. Thank you team!

The 6day Garden Route trip with Earthstompers was Fabulous! I truly loved the trip. Our guide, "Rochelle" was one of the best tour guides on the planet. Wonderful group of travelers, loved the accommodations/food/sights. Just spectacular!

My wife and I did a 6 day, 5 night tour wit Earthstompers along the Garden Route (Cape Town --\u003e Port Elizabeth and back). The tour was some of the best money spent on our trip (honeymoon). It was the perfect mix of adventure, beautiful scenery, culture and relaxation. Our guide Christine was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable on many different regions/towns in South Africa. She also did a fantastic job catering to everyone's specific needs (vegan, cheese-allergy, etc.). It felt like a truly authentic South African experience that I never would've been able to plan on my own.

One of the best experiences I've ever had as a solo traveller, the Earthstompers Garden Route tour is 6 days I won't forget and didn't want to end thanks to the lovely group of people I met and the wonderful Christine, a proud South African who is both a brilliant, knowledgeable guide and a total joy to be around; her positivity is infectious! The tour itself is well organised, varied and packed with activities but not overloaded and some are optional so if you're not feeling adventurous you can do something else, but I highly recommend signing up for as much as possible! The accommodation, food and places you visit are spectacular, you'll make some like-minded new friends along the way and leave with lekker memories.
