Wonderful garden and market in the heart of Cape Town ! An amazing market with lovely traders and local crafted / healthy products every Sunday. Also it is definitely a wonderful place for people interested in permaculture and urban gardening ! The spirit of this place is just unique, everyone is warmly welcomed and it is an unique occasion to meet amazing people !

Loving the vibe with view of table mountain as i sip on my morning coffee. I had a lekker neck and shoulder massage and the henna artist is amazing.

A prime space for those interested in escaping the system, sustainable food, bottom-up activism and the best view of Table Mountain.

One of the last authentic markets in Cape Town. Fantastic produce and awesome atmosphere. Often musicians drop in. Run by Tyisa Nabanye, a non profit organisation located (without a lease) on the slopes of Signal Hill between Tamboerskloof and the Bo Kaap, on the old military base. Started in August 2013, this collaboration between food security activists, neighbours and people living on the site aims to create a space in the city where everyone is welcome to explore the possibilities of growing food in an urban environment. Various project undertakings include an organic vegetable garden, an indigenous nursery, a weekly market and workshops and events that encompass our goals of food security and employment creation.
