The FD Project is a community-based non-profit organisation located in Cape Town, South Africa. There are three core fundamentals which shapes the focussed vision of the project: sustenance, education and infrastructure. With the aid of various community leaders within the surrounds of the Cape, the FD Project has gradually worked towards assisting selected communities with resources to enhance everyday living for both children and adults from diverse backgrounds. Some of these have included the provision, distribution and sharing of meals; educating and equipping learners both young and old alike with the tools, tutors and mentors to cultivate scholarly aspirations and assist in achieving goals as well as providing safe spaces of just being present and having fun amidst an ambience of laughter and camaraderie. Furthermore, the Infrastructure Development Programme is set up with the aim to assist community service centres, including schools and homes, with support in the form of maintenance and repair. We are deeply appreciative of the continued support the FD Project has received and enthusiastically hope to continue our work well into the future.
