Nice setting but disappointing burgers. A number of items on the menu were not available. We were there for lunch on a Sunday, so that might explain why some items had run out. However, we had booked ahead do their planning could have been better

This turned into a surprise for me. I have eaten here a number of times but since Covid had not returned. When I did the other day I was impressed with their new menu and even more impressed with the food when it arrived. It is now one of my top 10 breakfast spots in Cape Town

What an amazing spot. And some interesting revamps being done. Going to watch this space to see what exciting new experiences they'll be offering soon. Remember to enjoy a zip line and end it with great organic wines from @Rocket Dog Wines

Great views & the staff made a huge effort to give good service. The portions are very generous, although definitely not fine dining. Great location to take kids. Walk through the vineyard in front of the restaurant and find the pig enclosure, which the kids loved.

A very disappointing experience. We stayed at the Silvemist Hotel because we booked a dining experience at La Colombe. In the afternoon, we thought we check out the Green Vine. We asked for a Bubbly, sold out, than asked for the wine list they do not have, which is a bit strange for a wine estate. No they only have white and red wine. The white was their own SIlvemist Sauvignon Blanc, but I am not a big fan of that, so we decide to try the red, but that was not from the farm itself. So then we decided on a beer. For food we wanted a beef burger, but also sold out. We went for the chicken burger, very easy dry not tasty at all (and not cheap either), we wanted some mayonnaise with the fries but also sold out. Come on guys, you can do better then that. It does not matter if you should come on a friday, saturday or sunday, make sure you do your stocking right. Toilets are dirty. The view is nice, but that is about it.....We did not dare to come back for breakfast the next day. Such a shame, the more because La Colombe is a real treat and a proper experience, but the rest on the estate is very very poor and disappointing......

We've been here 2 days in a row for breakfast as we are staying at the boutique hotel on site. Breakfast was good both times, service was a bit hit and miss. Most of the staff are quite friendly and smiley but one in particular is not particularly attentive and I had to ask for water twice as he'd gotten distracted by another table (there were only the two tables So not very busy). My main reason for the 3 stars is because I booked a table for us over a month ago for 5pm on Friday as they now are open for dinner on the weekends. We got there a bit later but it wasn't even open and no-one had thought to tell me that my booking had been cancelled. It was a bit inconvenient as we have a young baby so need to work around her bedtime and had to find another restaurant nearby that would accept a walk in on a Friday evening.
