After 6 years of studies and development, Growthkap created a device called Growthkap Capsule. This unit reduce considerably the water used for irrigation also protects the tree against negative environmental elements and enhance growth, increasing the fruit tree’s productivity. Growthkap’s staff includes Agricultural Engineers with specialisation in irrigation, soil and fruit production, count with the technical support of Experico, a leader Agricultural Research Institute in the world. We have distributors and agents in Zimbabwe, Chile, Spain and United Arab Emirates. Growthkap has established an international alliance with CoolLogger, a Spanish company leader in temperature and humidity data. We integrated this technology into the capsule allowing the user to access to this information making possible to study the interaction between the tree and the environment where the tree is growing and follow the benefits of using our device. Our company goal is to supply products to make possible for trees to grow in areas where water is limited or with severe drought. Our capsule increase water available for the tree by capturing evaporation and returning it towards the root and actively collecting water from condensation on top of the capsule and conducing it to the base of the tree. This two actions reduce the quantity of water needed for irrigation with conventional systems. In Growthkap we aim to make available our product to ONGs operating in deforested areas in Africa and other places in the world and farmers facing the challenges of the climate changes and droughts. We supply a solution that make possible to generate employments, to create and maintain food production in areas with low or unexciting water resources, fight deforestation, control erosion and manage water wastage.
