This was an insane trip! We arrived in Cape Town, the van was ready to go, the staff went around and showed us everything with a big smile. They also gave us many tips for our own road trip: places to visit, restaurant to taste, wine to drink, waves to surf. It was crazy. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking to travel South Africa.

The only way to truly own your vacation on the southern cape. TRAVEL: We enjoyed so much flexibility being able to pick up and go wherever we wanted. If the rain comes in we headed to where it was sunny. The van handled phenomenally on all the roads we traversed. We did two self drive's in the game reserves (Bontebok, Addo). FOOD: Every day we J able to replenish at a grocery. The fridge packed easily 3 to 4 days of perishable food. Cooking supplies provided were great and we cooked nearly every meal. CAMPGROUNDS: Every camp ground was above our expectations (Highly recommend the national parks: Bontebok, Storms River, Addo). OVERALL: Best bang for the buck experience we've had on our nearly 7 month trip around the world. Only regret is we wish we allotted more time to explore. Ideally 10 days to comfortably do it all. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! The owners are the nicest guys and after chatting about everything to do, we're decided on coming back to do another camper van vacation.

We loved every minute of our Happy Campers experience. Our road trip took us from Cape Town to Namibia and back. The beauty of the van life was that we were able to set up camp, and pack up, all within 15 minutes. This took away so much hassle, and enabled us to visit seven different camp sites over a week-long trip. Highly recommended!

This honestly revolutionized road trips for me. I used to go camping or staying at a guest house. This is the perfect in between. No pitching tents or packing bags. A camper is a lock-up-and-go setup, absolutely perfect for South Africa. I enjoyed the 2-seater, as it was small and easy to drive with, getting in wherever I need to get in. I can't see how I will ever again attempt a South African road trip in anything else.

Stefan, first of all my sincere thanks for your trust. Secondly the seamless booking and pickup of my happy 1 camper was on par...despite the uncertainty indicative of the times we find ourselves in. The camper and I had a fanfastic time. The utensils, cleanliness, the layout and the driver comfort are commendable. I in particular appreciated the ease with which the camper handled on the road...tarred or gravel. Happy Campers is the van life experience your are looking in South Africa for multiple reasons, among others : the value, the equipment, the professionalism etc. The van experience is one of the best to try in South Africa as you are free to go wherever you want and be sure to be accepted in practically all camping sites. Eric has been perfect from the beginning to the end. He was interested in our trip, gave us some tips and was very caring. He gave us some extra blankets that were very useful during winter time. We had a little issue with the solar battery and he found a solution in the minute. We had such a good service, we were so embarrassed when we realize we have lost the table. Happy campers are so helpful and nice, it's important to be careful with the equipment in return. We keep very good memories and had one of the best experience so far. We recommend à 100% !!
