It is South Africa’s first and only dedicated crisis communication consultancy. We don’t treat a crisis the way public relations practitioners do. We consider it a discipline all on its own. We’ve developed a unique model based on many years of strategic communication knowledge, research and experience as well as international best practices. We have recently launched Hewers Reputation Analytics (HRA), a tool to measure and manage reputation. It helps to identify potential crisis and prevent reputation damage. The name Hewers was inspired by a speech of Apartheid architect Hendrik Verwoerd.
