This past Monday our HouseCheck Inspector Ettienne Van Rensburg conducted the Comprehensive Inspection of our new home in Modimolle. We received a comprehensive written report 24 hours later, with follow up email and text messages from our Inspector. Ettienne was also very willing to discuss his findings with us on the phone. A very professional Inspector indeed. I can whole heartedly recommend HouseCheck Home Inspections to any would be buyer or seller.

Probably the most amazing service I have ever received from any company. After requesting and receiving a quote I received a phone call to see if I had any questions and to explain what the inspection would involve. Once the inspection was completed, I received the report before 7am the next morning. Later that morning I received another phone call to check if I was happy with the report and if I would like anything explained to me. 5 stars is not enough for this amazing company and the people who work for it!

We used HouseCheck to provide peace of mind on a house purchase. Their report identified that the house I was about to buy would cost me 4x more in additional work to bring up to standard than we had anticipated. This not only had large cost implications (5-8% of the purchase price) but with a baby on the way we didn't have the time to complete this additional work before the baby arrived. To get the house in order would have meant delaying moving in and contiuing to rent while the house was brought up to shape. The HouseCheck comprehensive report was the crucial factor in determining that not only could we not afford to renovate the house but that we would have to pay rent and a bond simultaneously for a few months... Naturally, when we found our dream home we decided to order another comprehensive inspection report. Although the total cost of 2 reports appears hefty on paper (for us, roughly R5,000 per inspection) had I not ordered the first report I would have been stuck with R250,000 worth of unforesee repairs and delays to my move. R10,000 to save us R250,000 is a no-brainer. Its a small price to pay to avoid massive unforseen costs!
